There is going to come a point in time when one will not only be able to physically die, but also spiritually one will not be able to die to self (i.e., salvation, self-will). There will be a large scale disappearance of people. However the world will not stop working and functioning as a society. The Christians will disappear. There will be a time when the last person receives salvation, and Christ removes His church and people from the earth. That is when there will be no turning back.
Are we living in the tribulation now?
We may not understand what the “tribulation” is. We may be saying the word “tribulation” for a set of events that originally was said for another different set of events. These people’s spirits will crave the finality of death, but their mind has asserted so much dominance over their spirit that there is no way of taking back over.
There are some having one similar dream. It is loosely this:
There are some people up in a cloud, presumably with Jesus. There is a small circular train track, which old dingy soviet box cars. And people are trying to get into them. Then across the way, there is a big beautiful new train next to its platform of just a few people. The dreamer asks why there are so few people with the nice train, but many trying to get onto the old rickety ones. Then a couple of moments later, a high speed high efficiency train comes speeding through, stops at the platform for a couple of seconds and then zooms away.
This seems to be interpreted as Christ coming soon. There are going to be plenty of people thinking that they found the right train, when they actually only found the box cars that are not hooked on to anything but to a circular track that doesn’t lead them anywhere. Where as the few did when they boarded from the platform. These first people may be Christian in name but not true faith. And the second group are truly God’s people, the body of Christ.
Now I will say that I have not experienced this dream, but there have been many others that have told me about having a similar dream. All of the aspects of what I described before aren’t in all of their dreams, but if one were to write all of the aspects of each of their dreams and overlay them together, this would be the outcome. Some have expressed that the “rickety old box cars” were “wooden box cars”. Some have said that the “express train” was a “shiny new steam engine” or a “bright electric train”. As an outline, the main points are the same, but the specific details differ slightly here and there.
Have you had this dream, or something like it? Again, I haven’t. Even my oldest son has had this dream. He revealed to me how he woke up with so much energy and peace. He said that he was on the platform that the express train came up to. Just before he boarded the train, he looked back and saw all of the others clamoring to get onto the “old rickety box cars that led to no where”, and he said that he didn’t understand why they kept pushing others off to get on to them. He said that he didn’t understand how they could not see that these cars were not going anywhere. He was confused and yelled for them to come over to this platform. However, it was too late for them. The train was leaving. And it was going quick.
